What is a HUD Home?  If a home was purchased with a FHA mortgage, and later the owner goes into default and the home is taken back, that property is now a HUD home.  These homes are put on the market through a central agency and you can view all local HUD homes through the website link below.  There is an even greater number of repossessed homes that are not HUD homes and these are listed within our normal MLS and can be found through the search the MLS feature.    Many of these homes are priced significantly below similar homes and are an excellent value.  The best way to be aware of these special deals is to sign up for my automatic notification program, as soon as the home comes onto the MLS, you'll be emailed the listings.  The best deals go fast and this keeps you from missing them.  Call or email me for details, 517-403-0989
